First post!

Hi and thanks for stopping over to my blog.  My name is Dana and I'm a 40 something year old woman who recently decided that she wanted to learn how to ride, race and complete on the track on supersport motorcycles.  I've riden cruiser style bike in my past however this is my first venture into these super light high power machines.

Hopefully, over the next couple of months I'll babble about my progress converting my Ducati 848 EVO Corse into a track only racing machine.  I plan on doing all of the wrenching myself and please remember that I'm brand new at this.  Your comments are not only welcome but it would really help me out if folks let me know how I'm doing as I proceed.

You may be wondering why I'm not out riding.  Well, I live in Boston Massachusetts and it's freezing here today.  Minor snow flurries and over the ground.  I'm waiting for a few final parts to arrive via post from Germany so I decided to sit down and start a blog.  And this is it!
